I love that you've been writing Katie's story, thats something I've been wanting to do for Livie, but it will be really time consuming, because it is a rather long story!
I LOVE this pic of Katie, she really is so adorable!! Hope the appts go well today (:
what a cute girl!
I just found your blog and read Katie's story (I'm ready to read more!)
I have a baby boy who spent 40+ days in the PICU and the floor of our children's hospital with critical respiratory problems (vented three times) so I very much know about so much of what you went through!
Prayers that Katie continues to amaze!
What a precious baby girl! Found you on the Riggs blog and just wanted to stop by. God bless you and your family!
I also cant wait to hear the rest. She is a doll. What a fighter.
Thank you for finding me and our blog...I have just read the first 6 chapters of Katies story....oh my goodness...even though Preslie and Katie's stories are different in so many ways, I could relate on so many levels of the scare, the feeding issues, the infections, etc. I am so sorry you guys had to go through all of that with her..but look at her now...she is BEAUTIFUL!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for sharing your story! I will keep checking back!
Hi Kristine, hi Katie
I'm looking forward to reading through you blog and catching up. I feel so fortunate to have met you and the other 'Hanen' moms. I feel like we have so much to share with one another. Coincidence? Perfect timing? Perhaps both and just what I needed.
Take good care - Julie and Kate
Was wondering if you could please email me to talk. On Nov. 12, 2009 our son at 20 days old tested positive for GBS meningitis. We spent 3 weeks in the PICU. Dr.'s say it is day by day. They do not see any pupillary response. Maddox can hear. We read your story and it is as if we are reading what happened to us in the hospital. Trying to find some hope....or strength. Would love to be in contact with you through email. leighanneowens@hotmail.com
