Katie's been saying "Bia", "Bia" for a few weeks and we haven't been able to figure out what it meant. First I thought it was some variation of "Mia" which is how she says "Meow" to cats. I was all, "Oh that's cute Katie. The kitty says Mia and baby says Bia?" She'd just look at me with one eyebrow raised. Her look of scorn (she really does that, I'll have to capture it in a photo).
Yesterday, she decided to show me. I was driving home from the grocery store and after she made sure I was watching, she threw her soother, hat and all her toys onto the floor as hard as she could and then yelled "BIAAAA" followed up with maniacal laughter.
BAD. "Bia" is bad baby. I laughed so hard when I asked her and her little eyes lit up. I'm pretty sure she followed it up with an eye roll and an "about time".
I have no idea where she even got this...I say naughty girl, I never say bad.
Anyway, it's her new favorite word and she's taken it upon herself to give us hourly demonstrations.
Biaaaaaa, smash.
