Subversive Speech Therapy

Here's what we've been doing to help with Katie's speech. She has always watched videos while eating...not great, but she'll only eat with distraction. I found a ton of ESL videos on YouTube and she loves them. She thinks it's hilarious to try and repeat some of the harder words or phrases.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. We've been super busy working on adding some ABA therapy into Katie's schedule. I've been attending workshops and we're in the process of hiring a local ABA center to work with her a few times a week. I'll explain why we're doing this and how I think it will benefit Katie in my next post. We're excited!
